Louisiana is projected to lose one seat in the House of Representatives following the current census. However this is not becasue we have lost population as some feared following the storms of '05. Our population has recovered from those events. We are potentially losing representation becasue the census did not differ...entiate between citizens and and non-citizens (aka illegals). Therefore, states like California will have more seats in Congress to represent illegals.
